About the Program

ManLookingThe American Academy of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery works diligently to continue to enhance medical services, to advance science and improve patient care, and to serve our members—from medical students and residents  to established physicians, surgeons, clinicians, and academicians. A special group of institutions and practices, the AAO-HNS Partners for Progress, believe so strongly in this mission that they have chosen to dedicate their philanthropy to ensure that the work of the AAO-HNS continues to thrive.

Through annual donations in support of the AAO-HNS, Partners for Progress ensure that vital programs are administered to:

  • Create a robust evidence base for diagnosis and treatment of otolaryngology—head and neck surgery diseases and disorders
  • Provide essential research funding in support of training and mentoring promising young investigators
  • Educate the otolaryngology community, from residency to retirement, about the latest scientific advances
  • Inform patients and the public of the need to seek an expert's care
  • Design resources that meet the unique practice management needs of today's otolaryngologists
  • Develop clinical guidance in support of the best patient care
  • Disseminate specialty news and science through high-quality communications
  • Represent otolaryngologists in the federal and state legislative arenas, and the house of medicine.
